Great images tell great stories, and I love capturing great images. Since 1968 I've communicated through the lens of my camera. Sometimes I'm invisible, for weddings, plays, liturgical celebrations, and the like. Other times I take charge, herding cats, entertaining children, and pulling large groups of people together for corporate, school and family photos. Most of my shots are candid, though I sometimes ask people to move closer, raise their glasses, or go back to what they were doing before they saw me. I love working with people, remembering always that I am part guest, part host, and part photographer, balancing natural and artificial light, adding just the right amount of strobe, choosing the best angles, foregrounds, and backgrounds to capture the great photographs, video, and audio, that best tell your compelling story.
